The story of Lunar: Eternal Blue follows Hiro, Lucia and their companions as they attempt to save their world from an ancient evil known as Zophar. Players take control of Hiro, a young man living in a small village who discovers he has magical powers that can be used to save the world. He is accompanied by Lucia, a mysterious woman from another world who helps him on his quest. Along the way, they meet several other characters who join them on their journey, including Ronfar, Lemina and Jean. Together they must travel across multiple continents and dungeons while battling monsters and solving puzzles in order to reach Zophar’s mountain stronghold.
Gameplay consists of two distinct parts - exploration and combat. Exploration involves moving around various locations on foot or by riding animals or vehicles while interacting with NPCs to gather information or items needed to progress through the game. Combat takes place when enemies are encountered while exploring; battles consist of turn-based fights between up to three characters controlled by the player against up to three enemies controlled by AI. Players can use physical attacks, magic spells or items during battle for maximum effect against enemies.
The graphics of Lunar: Eternal Blue have been praised for their vibrant colors and detailed sprites that bring each character's personality alive on screen. The soundtrack also received high marks for its memorable tunes composed by Noriyuki Iwadare which fit perfectly with each scene throughout the game. Additionally, there are several side quests available which add even more content to an already impressive package.
In conclusion, Lunar: Eternal Blue is an outstanding RPG experience filled with engaging gameplay mechanics, colorful visuals and memorable music that players will want to return to time after time. With its captivating storyline full of twists and turns along with plenty of side content available; it is no surprise that this title continues to be fondly remembered by fans even today
