Metal Marines is a classic Super Nintendo game released in 1994 by Konami. In the game, players take control of a futuristic battle mech as they fight their way through enemy forces to save the world. The game features four levels of play, each with its own unique enemies and objectives.

Players begin the game by selecting their mech from three different models: a tank-like machine, an aircraft-like vehicle, or a robotic soldier. Each model has its own advantages and disadvantages in combat, providing players with numerous strategies for success. The goal of each level is to defeat all enemies on the map and progress to the next level.

The main objective of Metal Marines is to build up an army of mechs and use them to conquer enemy bases across five distinct regions (the Arctic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, South America, Africa and Europe). As the player progresses through each region they must protect their base from waves of enemy forces and capture resources from other bases. With these resources they can upgrade their mechs with new weapons and armor as well as build additional units such as tanks and planes to help in battle.

Each region also has multiple bonus levels where players can earn extra points by completing various tasks such as rescuing hostages or destroying enemy fortifications. These bonus levels are often very challenging but provide rewards that can be used to purchase upgrades or new units for your army.

The graphics in Metal Marines are colorful and detailed, making it easy to identify different types of enemies at a glance while still providing plenty of challenge when engaging them in battle. The music is also quite catchy and adds an extra layer of excitement to the experience. Overall Metal Marines is a great example of classic Super Nintendo gaming that still stands up today - offering both strategy and action for fans who enjoy tactical warfare games.
