Dragon’s Lair is an interactive movie game developed by Don Bluth and released in 1983 for the Laserdisc arcade system. It also included a “Time Challenge” mode where players could compete against each other for best times on each level.

The Sega CD version also allowed players to save their progress so they could continue from where they left off instead of having to start over from the beginning every time they played. This made it much easier for players to complete all of the levels without having to memorize every step along the way. Additionally, this version introduced new items such as keys which could be collected throughout the levels which would unlock bonus levels or extra lives when certain conditions are met.

Overall, Dragon’s Lair is an iconic classic that has stood up well over time thanks to its high production values and engaging gameplay mechanics.
