Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers is a classic fighting game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993. It is the fourth installment of the Street Fighter series, and was developed and published by Capcom. This version includes four new characters to choose from: T. Hawk, Cammy, Fei Long and Dee Jay. Along with these new characters, there are also several new features added to the game such as combo moves, air blocking and counter attacks.
In Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers, players can choose from eight different characters including Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, E. Honda, Dhalsim, Blanka, Zangief and Sagat. Each character has their own unique set of attacks and moves which can be used to defeat their opponents. Players can battle against each other or against computer controlled opponents in either a single-player or two-player mode. In addition to the regular matches, players can also participate in special challenges such as Survival Mode or Time Attack Mode where they must defeat a certain number of opponents within a time limit.
The graphics in Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers have been improved since its predecessor with more detailed backgrounds and sprites that look more realistic than before. The sound effects have also been enhanced with better music tracks that further add to the excitement of the game play experience. The controls are still relatively easy to use although some practice may be needed to master them all completely.
