The Itchy & Scratchy Game, released in 1993 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, is a side-scrolling action game based on the popular cartoon series of the same name. The game was developed by Konami and published by Acclaim Entertainment.

The objective of the game is to take control of one of two characters: Itchy or Scratchy. The player must traverse various levels while avoiding enemies, traps, and other hazards. The levels are divided into four worlds: the Forest World, City World, Desert World and Castle World. At the end of each level is a boss battle against an enemy from the show such as Poodle Corp., Meeces to Pieces Inc., or even Marge Simpson.

The gameplay consists mostly of running and jumping to avoid obstacles and enemies while collecting items such as power-ups and coins. Players can also collect pies which serve as ammunition for a special weapon – a slingshot – which can be used to defeat enemies or break blocks that contain power-ups.

The graphics in Itchy & Scratchy Game are colorful and detailed with characters resembling those from the show; they are animated well and have humorous facial expressions that make them seem alive. The sound effects are also quite good; they fit the tone of the game perfectly and add to its charm.
