Super Cars is a classic racing game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1990. Developed and published by Technos Japan Corporation, Super Cars is an action-packed top-down racer with a variety of tracks, cars, and power-ups to choose from. Players can choose to race against the computer or up to three players in split-screen mode. The object of the game is to finish each track in first place while avoiding obstacles and collecting power-ups such as turbo boosts and extra lives.

The game features six courses set in different countries around the world, including Japan, France, England, Italy, Germany, and Australia. Each course has unique obstacles that must be avoided or jumped over if players wish to stay on track and reach the finish line first. For example, oil slicks will slow down your car while puddles of water can cause you to lose control temporarily. In addition to these environmental hazards there are also other cars on the track that can block your path or even attack you with weapons such as missiles or bombs!

In addition to power-ups scattered throughout each course, players can also find special items such as money bags which can be used at pit stops located on certain tracks. At these pit stops players can purchase upgrades for their vehicles such as more powerful engines or better tires which will give them an edge over their opponents. There are also several hidden shortcuts located on each course that can help save time when racing against the computer or other human players.

Super Cars offers a great deal of replayability due to its well balanced difficulty level and varied courses. The graphics are colorful and well detailed for an 8 bit game while the music adds excitement to every race with its fast paced techno beats. With its challenging gameplay, unique power-ups and upgrades system, Super Cars remains one of the best racing games ever released for the NES system.
