Evander Holyfield’s “Real Deal” Boxing is a boxing video game released by Sega in 1992 for their Game Gear console. The game was developed by Sega and features real-life boxer Evander Holyfield as the main character. The game allows players to take on the role of Holyfield and fight their way through the ranks of professional boxers in an attempt to become the undisputed champion.
In Real Deal Boxing, players must choose a boxer from a selection of different weight classes including Heavyweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Welterweight. After selecting their fighter, players must then face off against various computer-controlled opponents. Each opponent has their own unique fighting style and techniques which must be countered in order to win each match. As players progress through the game they will gradually unlock new opponents and increase their boxer’s stats such as strength, endurance, speed, agility and punching power.
