Push-Over is a classic Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) puzzle game released in 1992. The objective of the game is to help a little green character named Lander through an intricate series of levels by pushing blocks and avoiding obstacles. The player must use their wit and agility to figure out how to arrange the blocks in such a way that they can reach the end of each level.
The game starts with Lander walking along the top of the screen, while at the same time, various types of blocks are being dropped from above. The player has to move these blocks around, so that they form a path for Lander to walk on. As he progresses through each level, more and more obstacles appear, making it increasingly difficult for him to reach his destination. These obstacles include enemies such as spiders and rats, as well as dangerous traps like spikes and pits.
The levels become increasingly complex as the game progresses, with multiple pathways that must be navigated in order to reach the end goal. In addition, some levels contain hidden doors which can lead to bonus areas or secret rooms that contain power-ups or extra lives.
The graphics in Push-Over are fairly simple but still charming. Each level has a distinct look and feel that helps set it apart from its predecessors on other systems such as the NES or Game Boy. The music is also pleasant and upbeat, adding an extra layer of enjoyment for players who take their time completing each level.
Overall, Push-Over is an enjoyable puzzle game that offers plenty of challenge for even experienced gamers. Its unique gameplay mechanics provide plenty of variety while its simple yet effective visuals make it easy on the eyes. If you’re looking for a classic SNES puzzler with plenty of depth, Push-Over is definitely worth checking out!
