Peace Keepers, The is a side-scrolling beat-‘em-up video game developed by Irem and published by Jaleco for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released in North America in 1994.

The player takes control of one of three characters: a soldier, a female ninja, or an alien. Each character has their own unique abilities and weapons which they can use to defeat enemies throughout the game’s levels. As they progress through the levels, players must battle against various types of enemies including robots and monsters. The player can also collect power-ups such as health refills and extra lives.

The story follows the Peace Keepers, a group of warriors who are tasked with protecting peace on Earth from various alien forces that have invaded. The player must battle through seven different stages set across the world in order to save humanity from destruction. Along the way, they will encounter powerful bosses such as giant robots, dragons, and aliens.

Each stage has multiple paths to follow which allows for some replayability as players explore different areas within each stage. At certain points during each level, there will be branching paths that lead to secret areas where players can find power-ups or items that will help them progress further in the game. Additionally, some stages feature mini-games which allow players to earn extra points or power-ups.

One of the most notable features of Peace Keepers is its two-player simultaneous cooperative mode which allows two people to play together at once. This mode offers an enhanced experience as both players work together to defeat enemies and complete objectives faster than playing alone would allow for.

Overall, Peace Keepers is an entertaining beat ‘em up experience that still holds up today due to its tight controls and satisfying combat system. With its challenging levels, multiple paths to explore, and two-player coop mode; it provides plenty of entertainment for fans of classic action games looking for something new to enjoy on their SNES console.
