The Pagemaster, The Super Nintendo Game is a side-scrolling platformer developed by Probe Software and released in 1994. The game is based on the 1994 film of the same name, starring Macaulay Culkin as Richard Tyler. The objective of the game is to guide Richard through various levels and retrieve books in order to complete his adventure inside the magical world of books.

At the start of the game, Richard finds himself in a library after being struck by lightning while trying to find shelter from a storm. He soon discovers that he has been transported into an alternate universe known as “The Pagemaster”, where all of the books within the library have come alive. In this strange new world, he must battle monsters and solve puzzles in order to progress through each level.
