Goof Troop is a 1993 platformer video game developed by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in North America on December 15, 1993, and in Europe and Japan on January 7, 1994. The game stars Goofy and his son Max as they explore a mysterious island and battle monsters along the way.

At the start of the game, Goofy and Max are vacationing at an island called Spoonerville when their boat capsizes near the shore. After being rescued by a native tribe, they discover that an evil force has taken over the island. To save Spoonerville from this menace, Goofy and Max must explore its four regions – Jungleland, Desertland, Snowland and Cloudland – to uncover the source of evil. Along their journey they will face many enemies including mad scientists, mechanical monsters, robots and dragons. They will also find helpful items such as bombs, keys and power-ups to help them progress through each level.

The gameplay consists of side scrolling platform action with puzzle solving elements similar to The Legend of Zelda series. Players control either Goofy or Max as they jump across platforms while avoiding obstacles such as spikes or lava pits. Both characters have unique abilities; Goofy can use his hat to reach higher places while Max can throw objects such as rocks or bombs at enemies. When playing two player mode both players can work together to defeat bosses or complete puzzles faster than one player alone could do it.

Goof Troop has been praised for its vibrant graphics featuring bright colors and detailed sprites for both characters and enemies alike.
