Dragon Ball Z - Hyper Dimension is a fighting game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1996. It is based on the popular manga series Dragon Ball, created by Akira Toriyama. The game was developed and published by Bandai and marks the first time a home console version of a Dragon Ball game was made available in North America.

The game follows the events of the manga and anime series, allowing players to control one of eleven characters from the show: Son Goku, Gohan, Future Trunks, Piccolo, Vegeta, Cell, Frieza, Android 16, Android 17, Android 18 and Majin Buu. Players can battle against each other or against computer-controlled opponents in one-on-one fights. Each character has their own set of special moves and abilities which can be used to defeat their opponents.

In addition to regular fights, Hyper Dimension also features a story mode which follows the plot of the Dragon Ball Z series up until the end of the Cell Saga. Players must complete various missions as they progress through this mode with cutscenes appearing between levels to advance the story further. This mode also allows players to unlock extra characters and items which can be used in battles against other players or computer opponents.

Graphically Dragon Ball Z - Hyper Dimension looks great for its time with detailed sprites that look similar to those seen in other SNES games such as Street Fighter II Turbo and Mortal Kombat II. The soundtrack is also quite good with fast paced music during battles that fits well with the action on screen.

Overall Dragon Ball Z - Hyper Dimension is an excellent fighting game that any fan of Dragon Ball should enjoy playing. It offers plenty of content for both single player and multiplayer modes which makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking for some action packed fun on their Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
