Albert Odyssey 2 - Jashin no Taidou is a Super Nintendo role-playing game developed by Sunsoft and released in 1995. It is the sequel to Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean, which was released on the Sega Saturn in 1994. The story follows the adventures of a young swordsman named Garett, who is tasked with saving the world from an evil god named Jashin.
The game takes place in two different worlds; one is a peaceful world known as Eldean, and the other is an evil world called Jashin's realm. In order to save Eldean from destruction, Garett must travel between the two worlds and battle Jashin's minions in order to prevent him from taking over both realms. Along the way, Garett will meet allies who will help him on his quest, such as a mysterious woman named Lina and her dragon companion Rafe.
The gameplay consists of exploring dungeons and towns while engaging in turn-based combat with enemies encountered along the way. As Garett levels up he can equip new weapons, armor, and items that will help him on his journey. Additionally, Garett can learn powerful magic spells which can be used to defeat enemies or heal allies during battle.
Albert Odyssey 2 also features an interesting day/night system which affects how certain NPCs behave depending on what time it is in-game; for example some merchants may only appear at night or certain areas may be inaccessible until a certain hour has passed. This adds another layer of strategy to the game as players must take into account what time it is before making any important decisions regarding their progress through the game’s story.
Overall Albert Odyssey 2 - Jashin no Taidou offers players an exciting adventure full of memorable characters and challenging battles set within a unique fantasy world that combines traditional RPG elements with some interesting twists of its own. Fans of classic RPGs should definitely give this one a try!
