Haou Taikei - Ryuu Knight is a Super Nintendo game developed by Telenet Japan and released in 1993. It is an action role-playing game, set in a fantasy world known as the "World of Dragon Knights". In this world, there are three powerful forces: the Holy Kingdom of Marl, the Empire of Valholl, and the Dark Kingdom of Satan. Players take on the role of one of four heroes who have been chosen to become Dragon Knights and restore peace to the World of Dragon Knights by defeating each kingdom's leader.

Players can choose from four different characters: Ryu (a swordsman), Teepo (a thief), Maia (a mage) and Elin (an archer). Each character has their own unique abilities and stats which determine their effectiveness in battle. The player must then go on a quest to build up their strength and gain allies before they can face off against each kingdom's leader. Along the way, they will encounter enemies, bosses, puzzles and traps that must be overcome with skill or luck.

The gameplay consists mostly of exploring dungeons while fighting monsters and finding treasure. As they progress through each dungeon they will gain experience points which can be used to level up their characters' stats such as strength, defense, magic power etc., making them more effective in battle. The game also features an extensive weapon system where players can find or buy weapons with various stats and attributes that can help them during combat.

The story progresses through a series of cutscenes which feature voice acting for all major characters as well as animated art for some scenes. The graphics are fairly good for its time with detailed environments and sprites that animate smoothly during battle sequences. The music is also quite catchy with upbeat tunes playing during battles adding excitement to the action packed gameplay.

Overall Haou Taikei - Ryuu Knight is an enjoyable action RPG with solid gameplay mechanics that offer plenty of depth for those willing to invest some time into it.
