Once you’ve become champion, the game continues until someone defeats you or until your stamina meter runs out. At this point, your reign as champion ends and another wrestler becomes champion instead.

The graphics for WWF Wrestlemania Challenge are quite basic but still look good for an NES title from 1990. The sprites are colourful and detailed enough to give each wrestler their own distinct look and feel. The sound effects are also quite good for an NES game from this era, featuring crowd cheers when a match begins or ends as well as individual taunts from the wrestlers themselves during battle sequences.
