Raid 2020 received positive reviews upon release thanks to its impressive visuals and intense action sequences which were praised for their challenge and variety. The music was also praised for its atmosphere and mood-setting capabilities while also being memorable for its unique sound effects such as explosions or gun shots during combat sequences.
