R.C. Pro-Am II is a classic racing game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Released in 1992, it was the sequel to the popular R.C. Pro-Am, released four years prior.
The game follows the same formula as its predecessor: players race radio controlled cars around a track while collecting power-ups and avoiding obstacles. The main difference between the two games is that R.C. Pro-Am II is much more challenging due to its faster speed and more difficult tracks.
Players have the option of choosing from four different cars with varying speed, acceleration and handling characteristics, each with their own unique design. As they progress through the game, they can unlock new cars by completing races or finding secret paths on certain levels.
The courses are divided into four different worlds which contain eight tracks each - with some hidden ones available as well - and must be completed in order to progress further into the game. Each world also has its own unique look and feel, ranging from desert landscapes to icy tundras and even outer space!
Players are also able to upgrade their cars by collecting coins scattered throughout each track; these coins can then be used to purchase upgrades such as turbo boosts or better tires which will help them win races easier and progress further in the game. Additionally, players can compete against up to three computer opponents at once in head-to-head races for extra points and bragging rights!
Overall, R.C. Pro-Am II is an exciting racing title that offers plenty of challenge for those looking for something a bit more intense than its predecessor while still retaining its classic arcade feel. It’s an excellent addition to any NES library - whether you’re a fan of racing games or just looking for something fun to play!
