Road Runner is an action-adventure video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991. It was developed by Konami and published by Ultra Games. The game is based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon of the same name, which follows the adventures of a speedy bird and its pursuer, Wile E. Coyote.

The objective of Road Runner is to get from one end of each level to the other without being caught by Wile E. Coyote or any other enemy characters. Players control Road Runner as he runs through various levels with obstacles such as cacti, rocks, and cliffs. Along the way, players can collect coins to earn points and power-ups that give him additional abilities like invincibility or speed boosts. In addition to avoiding enemies, players must also dodge various traps set up by Wile E., such as giant hammers or anvils that drop from above or spring loaded boxes that launch him into the air when stepped on.

In addition to single player mode, Road Runner also features two-player cooperative play where one player controls Road Runner while the other takes control of Wile E.. If playing cooperatively, both players must work together to progress through each level while trying to outwit each other at every turn. The first player to reach the end wins each round and earns points depending on how quickly they were able to complete it.

Road Runner features colorful graphics and a catchy soundtrack that adds a lighthearted touch to its fast-paced gameplay. The variety of enemies, power-ups and traps keeps things interesting throughout each level and provides plenty of challenge for experienced gamers looking for a unique twist on an old classic.
