Zoom! is a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game released in 1992 by Sega. It was one of the first games to be released for the system and it was a unique experience for its time.
The game plays out as a side-scrolling shooter where you take control of a spaceship and must battle your way through five levels of enemies. The controls are simple, with only two buttons used to move left and right, shoot, and change weapons. You can also collect power-ups that will give you better weapons or more health.
The graphics in Zoom! are surprisingly good considering the limitations of the system at the time. The colors are vibrant and there is plenty of detail in the backgrounds and sprites. The music is also quite catchy and fits perfectly with the action on screen.
Gameplay wise, Zoom! is fairly straightforward but still quite challenging. Each level contains multiple waves of enemies which must be defeated before progressing to the next level. There are also some tricky platforming sections which require precise movement in order to progress further into the game.
Overall, Zoom! is an enjoyable shooter that has stood the test of time due to its simple but addictive gameplay and colorful graphics. While it may not have aged as well as some other classic Genesis titles, it's still worth playing if you're looking for an old school shooter experience on your Sega Genesis/Mega Drive console.
