Valis III is a side-scrolling action game developed by Telenet Japan and released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1991. The game is the third title in the Valis series and follows the story of Yuko Ahso, a young girl who must save her world from an evil entity known as Rogles. The game features fast-paced action gameplay and colorful graphics.
The player takes control of Yuko as she battles her way through seven stages filled with enemies and obstacles. Along the way, she can collect power-ups to help her defeat her foes and progress further through the levels. The player must also make use of the various weapons at their disposal, such as swords, spears, fireballs and lightning bolts. As they progress through each stage, they will encounter bosses which must be defeated before progressing to the next level.
In addition to its main quest mode, Valis III also features two additional modes: Versus Mode and Co-op Mode. In Versus Mode, up to two players can battle against each other using their own characters or selectable boss characters from the main quest mode. Co-op Mode allows up to four players to join forces in order to tackle difficult levels together. Both modes add an extra layer of challenge to the game while allowing friends to enjoy it together.
