Krusty’s Fun House is a platform game released in 1992 for the Sega Game Gear. Developed by Acclaim Entertainment and published by Flying Edge, the game follows the Simpsons character Krusty the Clown as he must escape from his own fun house. The game is a single-player experience.
The goal of Krusty’s Fun House is to help Krusty make it out of the fun house alive. Players take control of Krusty and must navigate his way through various levels, each filled with traps and enemies that must be avoided or defeated. Each level also contains items that can be collected to increase points and give bonuses such as extra lives or invincibility.
In order to progress through the levels, players must solve puzzles and find keys which will unlock doors leading to new areas. As they advance, players will come across dangerous obstacles such as slippery floors, moving platforms, spikes and more. To help them get past these hazards, Krusty can use bombs to blow up obstacles or pick up special items like an invincibility star which will protect him from damage for a limited amount of time.
The game features several boss battles which require quick reflexes and strategic thinking in order to defeat them and progress further in the game. Once all levels have been completed, players are rewarded with a secret bonus level where they can collect additional points and power-ups before finishing off the game at last.
Krusty’s Fun House is an enjoyable platformer that combines classic elements of the genre with some unique twists like puzzle-solving and boss battles. It offers a challenging but rewarding experience that fans of classic platformers should definitely check out!
