Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium is a professional wrestling video game developed by Human Entertainment and released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1995. It is the fourth entry in the Fire Pro Wrestling series, and the first to be released outside of Japan. The game features a roster of over 200 wrestlers from various promotions around the world, including New Japan Pro-Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and Extreme Championship Wrestling. Players can create their own custom wrestlers using a variety of attributes such as height, weight, strength, speed, technique, and finishers. The game also includes an extensive career mode that allows players to take their wrestler through various tournaments and championships in order to become the world champion.
The gameplay of Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium is similar to previous entries in the series. Matches are fought from an overhead view with two wrestlers in the ring at any given time. Players can perform various grappling maneuvers such as strikes, submissions holds, suplexes, and pinfalls. Special moves are also available which can be used to inflict greater damage on opponents or gain an advantage over them. Matches can end via pinfall or submission or if one wrestler is knocked out or disqualified.
The graphics of Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium have been improved since its predecessor with more detailed sprites and animations for characters as well as better background visuals during matches. There are also several new features introduced such as an exhibition mode that allows players to set up custom matches with specific rulesets and a tournament mode where they can compete against AI opponents or other players in order to become champion of a particular tournament. Additionally there are several mini-games included such as arm wrestling and sumo wrestling which add some extra fun for those looking for something different than traditional wrestling matches.
Overall Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium offers an excellent experience for fans of professional wrestling both old and new alike. With its vast roster of real life wrestlers from around the world along with its deep career mode and plethora of match types it provides plenty of content for players to dive into without ever becoming stale or repetitive. Its improved graphics also help make it stand out among other SNES titles while still providing plenty of classic 16-bit charm that will keep fans coming back again and again
