Along the way, he meets various characters from the feudal Japan era, battles powerful enemies and solves puzzles in order to progress.
The game takes place in a fictional feudal Japan setting and features characters inspired by historical figures from that era. The player controls Kojiro as he travels through various locations in search of his father. He must battle enemies using his sword and other weapons such as spears, guns, bombs and axes. There are also puzzles to be solved throughout the game which require careful thought and strategy to complete.
The graphics of Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof are detailed and vibrant with colorful backgrounds and character designs that capture the atmosphere of feudal Japan. The music is also well composed with traditional Japanese instruments such as shamisen, koto and shakuhachi providing an authentic feel to the game.
