Fatal Fury is a fighting game series developed by SNK for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The series was released in 1992 and quickly became one of the most popular fighting games on the console. It was praised for its unique characters, exciting gameplay and variety of moves available to each character.

The story of Fatal Fury follows two brothers, Terry and Andy Bogard, as they travel around the world to compete in a tournament called “The King of Fighters”. Their goal is to defeat the mysterious crime lord Geese Howard and restore peace to Southtown. Along their journey they encounter several other fighters who join them in their quest. These include Joe Higashi, Mai Shiranui, Kim Kaphwan, Big Bear and Laurence Blood. Each character has their own unique fighting style which makes battles more intense and varied.

The gameplay of Fatal Fury is similar to that of Street Fighter II with players able to move around the battlefield freely instead of being confined to a single square like in many other fighting games. Players can also perform special moves using combinations of directional inputs and button presses. The main objective is to deplete your opponent's health bar before theirs runs out or time runs out; whichever comes first will determine the winner.

Fatal Fury also features several modes such as Practice Mode where players can hone their skills against computer-controlled opponents or play against a friend in Versus Mode. There are also Survival Mode where you must defeat all your opponents without losing once and Team Battle Mode which allows up to four players at once with each player controlling multiple characters simultaneously.

Overall, Fatal Fury is an excellent fighting game that still holds up today despite its age. It has great graphics, exciting fights and interesting characters that make it stand out from other fighting games on the SNES platform. Fans of classic 2D fighters should definitely give this one a try if they haven’t already done so!
