Daikaijuu Monogatari (or Great Monster Story) is a role-playing video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System that was released in Japan in 1995. The game is set in a world where monsters, or kaiju, coexist with humans, and the player takes on the role of a young boy named Ryuji who has been chosen to become the next Kaiju Master.

The game’s story starts off when an evil tyrant known as Gedora begins a campaign of terror against humanity. Ryuji’s father, a famous scientist and researcher, was killed by Gedora while trying to protect humanity. After his father's death, Ryuji discovers that he has inherited his father's powers to control monsters and decides to take on the mantle of Kaiju Master in order to save the world from Gedora’s reign of terror.

In Daikaijuu Monogatari, players must explore different cities across the world in order to recruit new monsters to their team. These monsters can then be used in battle against enemies encountered throughout the course of the game. Each monster has unique abilities and stats which can be upgraded by feeding them various items found throughout the world. As players progress through the game they will also come across special items which can be used to summon powerful bosses known as “Kaiju” which need to be defeated in order for Ryuji to progress further into his quest.

The battles themselves are turn-based affairs where players select commands for each monster on their team before enemies take their turn and attack back. Players will have access to both physical attacks as well as magical spells which consume MP points when used. As battles are won rewards such as money or experience points are awarded which can then be used by players to purchase new items or level up their team respectively.

Overall Daikaijuu Monogatari is an enjoyable RPG experience with plenty of content for fans of monster battling games such as Pokemon or Digimon. With its simple yet engaging combat system, colorful visuals and fun characters this title is sure to please any fan of classic RPGs looking for something different from traditional offerings like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest
