Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) sports game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Accolade in 1995. It is based on the real-life basketball player Bill Laimbeer, who was a four-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA champion with the Detroit Pistons. The game has three different modes of play: Exhibition, Tournament, and Practice.

In Exhibition mode, players can compete against either a computer opponent or another human player. Players can choose from eight teams located in cities such as Detroit, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Each team consists of five players: two forwards, one center, one guard and one point guard. Before starting the match, players can adjust the rules for each game; they can choose to play full court or half court games with either two or four quarters. Additionally, they can set the difficulty level (Easy, Medium or Hard) as well as determine if fouls will be called during gameplay.

The Tournament mode allows up to four players to compete against each other in a single elimination tournament format with customizable teams and rules. Players must win each game to advance through the tournament bracket until they reach the championship game where they will face off against Bill Laimbeer's team for the title of "Combat Basketball Champion".

In Practice mode players can hone their skills by playing against computer opponents at any difficulty level without worrying about keeping score or advancing through a tournament bracket. This mode also gives players access to an extensive training area where they can practice specific moves such as layups, dunks and rebounds as well as test their shooting accuracy from various spots on the court.

Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball is an entertaining basketball simulation that captures all of the excitement of real life basketball while adding its own unique twist with its over-the-top style of play featuring intense combat between players on opposing teams. With its fast paced action and precise controls it makes for an enjoyable gaming experience that both hardcore basketball fans and casual gamers alike will enjoy playing again and again.
