Stunt Kids was a video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989. Developed and published by Konami, Stunt Kids is an action-racing game that follows a group of three stunt kids—Lil’ Joe, Max and Tony—as they compete in a series of stunts to become the world’s greatest stunt kid. The player controls one of the three characters as they make their way through five different levels, each featuring unique obstacles and challenges. The goal of each level is to reach the finish line with the best time possible without getting injured.

The game begins with an introduction sequence that shows Lil’ Joe, Max and Tony riding their BMX bikes up a ramp and performing various tricks before landing in front of a cheering crowd. After this brief introduction sequence, players are brought to the character selection screen where they can choose from one of the three characters to play as throughout the game. Once chosen, players must then navigate their chosen character through five levels filled with obstacles such as ramps, jumps, loops and other objects that must be avoided or jumped over in order to progress.

Each level consists of several sections filled with obstacles that must be navigated while avoiding pitfalls or hazards such as spikes or water pits. Completing certain sections will grant access to bonus stages where additional points can be earned by completing tasks such as collecting coins or performing stunts within a certain amount of time. At the end of each level lies a boss stage where players face off against one of the game’s bosses before progressing any further. Defeating all five bosses will unlock a secret sixth level which can only be accessed after beating all five regular levels.

Stunt Kids features some impressive visuals for its time period including detailed sprites for both characters and enemies as well as colorful backgrounds full of vibrant colors and animations. The music also adds to the overall atmosphere with upbeat tunes accompanying each stage adding even more to its charm. With its simple yet challenging gameplay mechanics combined with its bright visuals and catchy soundtrack, Stunt Kids is sure to provide hours upon hours of entertainment for anyone looking for an old-school classic gaming experience on their NES system!
