Play Rescue - The Embassy Mission Online

Rescue: The Embassy Mission is a 2D action-adventure game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988. The player takes on the role of a secret agent, who must rescue hostages from a terrorist group known as “The Red Hand”. The game consists of five stages, each with its own unique objectives.

The first stage is set in an embassy building, where the player must locate and rescue six hostages held captive by the Red Hand. Along the way, they must avoid or shoot enemy guards as well as collect keys to open locked doors. Once all of the hostages have been rescued, the player must then make their way to the roof of the embassy and escape via helicopter.

In the second stage, players are tasked with infiltrating an enemy base located in a mountainous region. Here they must fight their way through various obstacles while avoiding or shooting enemy soldiers along the way. At the end of this level, they will come face to face with a powerful enemy boss that they must defeat in order to progress further in the game.

In stage three, players take control of a tank and attempt to reach an area containing nuclear missiles before time runs out. They will need to dodge incoming fire from enemy tanks while destroying any obstacles blocking their path. Once they reach their destination, they must destroy all of the missiles before escaping via helicopter once again.

Stage four sees players piloting a jet fighter through hostile airspace in order to reach their final destination - an island fortress where Red Hand leader General D’Orsay awaits them at his headquarters. As they fly towards their target, they must avoid or shoot down waves of enemies while collecting power-ups that can be used to upgrade their weapons and armor. Upon reaching General D’Orsay’s headquarters, they must battle him one-on-one before finally escaping via submarine after completing this stage successfully.

In Rescue: The Embassy Mission’s final stage, players take control of a submarine and have to navigate through treacherous waters while avoiding enemy submarines and mines along the way until reaching safety at shoreline port where all of their mission objectives have been fulfilled successfully. This marks not only successful completion of Rescue: The Embassy Mission but also victory over Red Hand terrorists once and for all!
