Jeopardy! 25th Anniversary Edition for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was released by GameTek in 1990 and it is a game based on the popular TV show of the same name. The game features Alex Trebek as the host, along with his trademark humor and catchphrases. Players can choose to compete against two computer-controlled opponents or a friend. Each player begins with $1000 and has three rounds to answer questions from six categories: Arts & Literature, History & Geography, Science & Nature, Sports & Leisure, Pop Culture, and Wild Card.

The object of Jeopardy! 25th Anniversary Edition is to accumulate as much money as possible by correctly responding to questions from each category. Questions are worth between $100 and $500 depending on difficulty level selected by players. Throughout the game, players must use their knowledge of facts in order to win money. If an incorrect answer is given then no money is earned for that question. Additionally, players can also choose to use their Daily Double where they can wager up to all of their current money on one question.

The gameplay also includes other elements such as Final Jeopardy which gives each player one last chance to wager a portion or all of their money before revealing the correct answer. Players can also use power ups such as “Double Your Money” or “Half Your Money” which allows them to double or half their current total respectively before responding correctly to a question.

At the end of each round and once all questions have been answered correctly, players will receive bonus points depending on how many correct answers were given during that round in addition to any money won during gameplay. The first player who reaches $5000 at the end of three rounds wins the game and receives additional bonus points for winning Jeopardy! 25th Anniversary Edition for Nintendo NES.
