Famicom Wars is a military-themed turn-based strategy game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1988.

Players command their troops using a variety of units, with each unit having its own unique strengths and weaknesses.

If a player successfully captures all enemy bases on an island, they will be rewarded with medals that can be used to purchase upgrades for their units or even unlock secret bonus levels.

Famicom Wars provides an interesting mix of strategic gameplay combined with tactical combat elements that makes it stand out from other turn-based strategy titles available on the NES.

The game also features some lighthearted humor with humorous dialogue between characters as well as silly sound effects during battles that add character to the experience.
