The game puts the player in the role of Short Order, a chef trying to make his way through an egg-filled kitchen. The goal of the game is to make as many dishes as possible before time runs out. Players must use their wits and reflexes to avoid the eggs that are raining down from above while they prepare dishes for customers.

The game starts with Short Order standing in front of the stove, ready to begin cooking. As customers enter the restaurant, they will call out orders which must be fulfilled within a certain amount of time. Thankfully, there are several power-ups scattered throughout the level which can help protect him from these flying eggs. These include shields and umbrellas which will block any eggs that come near him and even temporarily slow down their descent so that he has more time to get out of the way.

In addition to avoiding eggs and fulfilling orders, players can also collect coins which can be used to purchase upgrades such as extra lives or faster cooking times for certain dishes. Once all of the orders have been completed within the allotted time limit, players are rewarded with bonus points before being taken back to the main menu for another round of cooking chaos!
