Chase H.Q. is an arcade-style racing game that was originally released in 1988 by Taito Corporation. It was later ported to the Nintendo Game Boy in 1991 and has since become a cult classic. The game follows the player as they take on the role of a police officer tasked with apprehending criminals who are trying to evade capture by driving at high speeds.

The objective of Chase H.Q. is simple: race against time and apprehend all criminals before they escape and cause havoc in the city. The player must navigate their way through six different stages, each with its own unique setting, such as a desert, mountain pass or city streets. As the player progresses through each stage, they will encounter various obstacles such as other cars, road blocks or even police helicopters that will attempt to impede their progress and slow them down. To succeed, the player must use evasive maneuvering techniques such as drifting around corners or taking shortcuts when available to avoid being caught by pursuing police cars or helicopters while still managing to catch all of the criminals before time runs out.

The graphics in Chase H.Q are quite basic but still manage to convey a sense of speed and excitement due to its smooth animation and detailed backgrounds. The music is also catchy and fits well with the overall theme of the game; it complements both the action on screen as well as providing an extra layer of intensity during moments when players need to make split-second decisions on how best to proceed in order to complete their mission successfully.

Chase H.Q for Game Boy offers hours of fast-paced fun for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush while playing a classic retro game. It may be one of Taito’s earlier games, but it has certainly stood the test of time and remains one of the most popular titles amongst gamers today - new or old! So why not grab your Game Boy, buckle up your seatbelt and get ready for some high octane action!
