The player controls Draygus through eight different areas filled with monsters that he must battle using various weapons such as swords, spears, axes, bows and arrows. Throughout his journey Draygus will encounter friendly NPCs who will help him along his way and provide him with valuable items such as healing potions and magic rings which can be used to increase his defense or power up certain attacks. As he progresses through each area Draygus will gain experience points which can be used to level up Draygus’ stats such as health points and attack strength.

The main objective of Crystalis is to collect four elemental swords which are hidden throughout the game’s world map. These swords are necessary for Draygus to defeat The Empire Of Golems at their fortress located at the end of the game. Once all four elemental swords have been obtained Draygus must then face off against The Empire Of Golems’ leader known as Emperor Dorago before finally being able to save humanity from destruction once again.

Crystalis is considered one of the greatest games ever made for the Nintendo Game Boy Color console due to its highly polished visuals combined with intense action-packed gameplay that kept gamers engaged until they reached its epic conclusion.
