It is based on the popular comedy film series of the same name starring Mike Myers and Elizabeth Hurley.
The game follows Austin Powers as he attempts to stop Dr.
Evil's ploys for world domination.
The game is a side-scrolling platformer with levels set in various locations from the films such as London, Las Vegas, Tokyo and more.
Players must guide Austin through each level collecting coins and items while avoiding obstacles and enemies.
Along the way, they can also collect power-ups to help them on their quest.
The gameplay consists of several different types of levels including side-scrolling platforming sections, top-down vehicle sections and overhead puzzle sections.
Each level also features its own unique set of tasks and objectives which must be completed to progress further in the game.
These range from reaching certain areas or defeating specific enemies to solving puzzles or completing mini-games.
The player can also collect coins throughout each level which can be used to purchase upgrades for Austin’s gadgets or extra lives at certain points in the game.
One interesting feature of the game is its use of cutscenes between levels which provide some background information on the characters as well as humorous dialogue between them.
These scenes are accompanied by voice acting from Mike Myers himself as well as other members of the cast from the films, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the experience.
In addition to its single-player mode, Austin Powers - Oh, Behave! also offers a two-player co-operative mode in which two players can team up and work together to complete levels and progress through the story together.
This mode adds an extra layer of replayability to an already enjoyable gaming experience Overall, Austin Powers - Oh, Behave! is a great example of a licensed video game done right; it captures all the charm and humour from its source material while providing an enjoyable gaming experience that stands up even today thanks to its varied gameplay mechanics and memorable characters.
If you’re a fan of either Mike Myers or classic platformers then this is definitely one title worth checking out if you haven’t already done so!
