Densetsu no Stafi 3 (Legend of Stafi 3) is an action-adventure video game released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2004. Developed by TOSE and published by Nintendo, Densetsu no Stafi 3 follows the classic platforming formula popularized by the Mario series, with a variety of levels to explore, enemies to defeat, and power-ups to collect. Players take control of Stafy (a starfish), who must save his ocean kingdom from the evil King Crab.
The game begins with a brief introduction sequence in which King Crab has taken over Stafy’s kingdom and imprisoned his family. In order to save them, Stafy must travel through different levels in search of clues that will lead him to the king’s lair. Along the way he must battle various enemies such as crabs, jellyfish, sharks and other aquatic creatures. Throughout his journey, he can collect coins, power-ups and other items that will help him on his quest.
Gameplay is similar to other platformers on the Game Boy Advance; players move left or right across each level while jumping over obstacles and collecting coins. In addition to standard platforming elements, Densetsu no Stafi 3 also introduces a few unique features such as swimming sections and boss battles. The game is divided into six worlds which are further broken down into individual stages; each world ends with a boss battle against one of King Crab’s minions.
In addition to the main story mode, players can also enjoy several mini-games which are unlocked as they progress through the game. These mini-games range from simple puzzles to full blown racing competitions; all of them offer unique challenges and rewards that make them worth playing through multiple times. There is also a two player mode which allows two people to play together either cooperatively or competitively; this feature adds an extra layer of replayability for those who want more out of their gaming experience.
Overall, Densetsu no Stafi 3 provides an enjoyable experience for fans of classic platforming games. The graphics are bright and colorful making it easy on the eyes while still providing plenty of detail in each level; the controls are tight and responsive ensuring smooth gameplay throughout; and there is plenty of content available both in terms of stages and mini-games making it well worth its price tag. For anyone looking for an old school platformer on their Game Boy Advance system then look no further than Densetsu no Stafi 3 – it’s sure to provide hours upon hours of entertainment!
