Densetsu no Stafi, or commonly known as “The Legendary Starfy” in English, is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance that was released in Japan in 2002. Gameplay wise, Densetsu no Stafi is divided into two distinct parts; exploration/platforming sections where players control Starfy directly and action/puzzle sections where they control Moe or one of Starfy’s other allies. During exploration segments, players must search for items such as coins which can be used to purchase upgrades like extra health points or special abilities such as double-jumping or swimming underwater. Platforming segments also feature various obstacles such as spikes or enemies that must be avoided or overcome in order to progress further into each level.

In addition to exploring levels and completing platforming challenges, Densetsu no Stafi also features numerous mini-games that can be played either alone or with up to four players via link cable connection.
