Make My Video: Kris Kross is a Sega CD/Mega-CD game released in 1992. It was developed by Digital Pictures and published by Sony Imagesoft. The game was based on the popular rap duo, Kris Kross, and featured their hit single “Jump” as the main theme song.
The objective of Make My Video: Kris Kross is to create a music video using clips from the band’s music videos. Players are given three clips to choose from and then they must arrange them in the order they want to make the video flow. After that, players can add effects such as fading, reverse play, or scrolling text. Once a video is complete, it can be saved onto a memory card so that it can be watched again later on.
The game features five levels of difficulty ranging from easy to hard and each level has its own set of objectives that must be completed before the player can move on to the next level. Players are also given a time limit for each level and if they do not complete their task within this time limit then their progress will reset for that level.
Players are rewarded with points for completing levels successfully and these points can be used to purchase additional clips for use in their videos as well as other items such as backgrounds and special effects like slow motion or strobe lighting. There are also bonus rounds available where players have to match up sections of songs correctly in order to earn extra points.
Make My Video: Kris Kross is an enjoyable game that allows players to be creative while having fun at the same time. It’s easy-to-learn interface makes it accessible for all ages while still providing enough challenge for more experienced gamers looking for something new and different. With its unique blend of music video editing and gaming elements, Make My Video: Kris Kross is sure to keep players coming back for more!
