Jammit is a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game released in 1992. It is an action-packed sports game with four different events: Soccer, Basketball, Hockey and Baseball. Players can choose to compete solo or with up to three friends in a competitive multiplayer setting. The objective of the game is to score the most points by completing each event before time runs out.
When playing Jammit, players must first select their team name and enter their initials. Once the team has been selected, players can then choose which event they would like to participate in. Each event has its own unique set of rules and objectives that must be followed in order to win the game. For example, in Soccer, players must use their character's feet to kick the ball into their opponents' goal while avoiding obstacles such as walls and other players. In Basketball, players must use their character's arms to shoot the basketball into their opponents' hoop while avoiding obstacles such as walls and other players. In Hockey, players must use their character's stick to hit the puck into their opponents' goal while avoiding obstacles such as walls and other players. Finally, in Baseball, players must use their character's bat to hit balls into designated targets while avoiding obstacles such as walls and other players.
In addition to competing against each other for points within each event, teams can also earn bonus points by performing special moves known as "Jammit Jams". These moves are performed by combining buttons on the controller at certain times during gameplay. Examples of Jammit Jams include kicking an extra long soccer ball or shooting a basketball from behind your back. Performing these special moves will grant bonus points that add up towards a team’s total score at the end of each event.
Each event has its own leaderboard where teams can track their progress throughout the game. At the end of each round, teams will receive medals depending on how many points they have earned compared to other teams playing Jammit at that time. After all four events have been completed, a final score screen will appear showing how well every team did overall compared to one another; this screen will also display which team won overall based on who had accumulated the most points throughout all four events combined.
Jammit was developed by Digital Illusions CE (DICE) for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive systems; it was released in North America in 1992 and Europe in 1993. This classic sports title is still considered one of DICE’s best works due to its innovative concepts and intense competition between teams; even today it remains popular among retro gamers who are looking for an exciting way to challenge themselves or others with friends through some friendly competition!
