Terminator 2 - Judgment Day for Sega Game Gear is a side-scrolling action game released in 1993. The game was developed by Probe Software and published by Flying Edge. It is based on the movie of the same name and follows the same storyline. Players take control of a T-800 Terminator, sent back from 2029 to protect John Connor from the T-1000.

The game begins with an introduction featuring clips from the movie and a voiceover explaining your mission. Once that’s done you’re taken to a top down map of Los Angeles where you must traverse between different levels. You can move freely around this map but will come across obstacles such as walls or force fields that must be destroyed before they can be passed through.

Each level features several enemies which must be defeated in order to progress. These range from human soldiers equipped with guns and grenades, to robotic drones and more powerful cyborgs like the T-1000 itself. To defeat them, players have access to a variety of weapons including handguns, shotguns, rocket launchers and even flame throwers. The enemies also drop power-ups which increase health or grant temporary invincibility when collected.

In addition to these levels, there are also bonus stages which involve navigating mazes or destroying targets within a time limit for extra points. As players progress through the game they can unlock new levels and weapons as well as additional gameplay modes such as survival mode or two player competitive mode via link cable.

Overall Terminator 2 - Judgment Day for Sega Game Gear is an enjoyable action game that does justice to its source material while providing an entertaining experience in its own right. With its varied levels, challenging enemies and bonus stages it offers plenty of replay value for fans of the franchise or those who just want some classic arcade style gaming on their handheld console
