Surf Ninjas is a side-scrolling platform game developed by Aspect and released for the Sega Game Gear in 1993. The game follows the adventures of two teenage brothers, Zack and Ace, who are both expert surfers. The game begins when the brothers discover that their father is actually an exiled prince from the island nation of Shurka. Upon learning this, they set out to rescue their father and reclaim his rightful throne.

The gameplay of Surf Ninjas consists of a series of levels in which the player must navigate obstacles and enemies while avoiding falling off of platforms or being hit by projectiles. Along the way, power-ups can be collected to help Zack and Ace defeat enemies more easily. As they progress through each level, they will encounter various bosses which must be defeated in order to move on.

In addition to these mini-games, Surf Ninjas also features some unique elements such as a “surfing mode” where players can ride waves while collecting items or attacking enemies; and an “underwater mode” where players will have to dodge obstacles while swimming underwater.
