Sports Trivia is a Sega Game Gear video game released in 1993. It was developed by Sega and published by Tec Toy. The game is a trivia quiz game, featuring questions about various sports topics such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, and tennis.

The goal of the game is to answer as many questions correctly as possible in order to advance to the next level. The game features multiple difficulty levels and allows up to four players to play at once. Players can also save their progress for later play sessions.

The gameplay consists of answering a series of multiple-choice questions about sports topics. Each correct answer awards points and advances the player closer to the next level. Incorrect answers will result in a time penalty which could cause the player to lose points or even lose the game if they are unable to recover from their mistake quickly enough.

Players are presented with a selection of categories from which they must choose one before beginning their question-and-answer session. Categories include: Sports History, Current Events, Rules & Regulations, Player Profiles, and Famous Quotes & Sayings among others. After selecting one of these categories, players are then presented with a series of questions that must be answered within a certain amount of time before progressing onto the next question or category.

Sports Trivia includes an extensive library of over 2200 questions covering all aspects of sports knowledge from every major professional sport played in North America and Europe including American football (NFL), baseball (MLB), basketball (NBA), hockey (NHL), soccer (MLS) and more! Players can also select specific teams or players for further customization when playing against friends or computer opponents.

In addition to its extensive library of sports trivia questions, Sports Trivia also features several mini games such as “Spin & Win” where players must spin a wheel with numbers on it that correspond with different sports topics; “Buzzer Beater” where players must answer multiple-choice questions faster than their opponent; and “Horse Race” where players race horses across an 8x8 board in order to reach the finish line first!
