Steel Talons is a classic Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) game released in 1991. Developed by Atari Games, Steel Talons puts gamers in the cockpit of an AH-64 Apache helicopter and tasks them with completing various missions. Players must use their skill and reflexes to maneuver through enemy territory while avoiding obstacles, enemy fire, and other hazards.
The game has four different stages: Training, Easy, Medium, and Hard. The Training stage familiarizes players with the controls of the helicopter and teaches them how to complete basic maneuvers such as hovering or shooting enemies. The Easy stage introduces more challenging objectives such as destroying tanks and rescuing prisoners of war. As players progress through the stages, they must face increasingly difficult enemies and obstacles.
Players have a variety of weapons at their disposal throughout the game including machine guns, rockets, bombs, and missiles. They can also use flares to distract enemy forces or deploy smoke screens for cover. Players must make strategic use of these weapons in order to successfully complete each mission.
In addition to its mission mode, Steel Talons also features an arcade mode where players can compete against a friend or computer opponent in a race to complete a set number of laps around an obstacle course. This mode allows players to test their skills against one another in a fast-paced battle for supremacy over the skies.
Overall Steel Talons offers gamers an exciting yet challenging experience that will keep them coming back for more time after time. With its diverse range of missions and modes, it is no wonder that this classic SNES title remains popular even today among both new and old school gamers alike!
