Rudra no Hihou, or “Treasure of Rudra”, is a 1995 Super Nintendo game developed by Quintet and published by Enix. It is an action RPG with a unique blend of real-time combat, puzzle solving, and exploration. The game follows the story of a young boy named Komiya who is chosen to save the world from destruction by the evil goddess Rudra.
The game begins with Komiya being sent on a mission to retrieve five magical artifacts known as the “Gems of Time”. These gems are scattered across five different dungeons, each filled with monsters and obstacles that must be overcome in order to reach them. As Komiya progresses through each dungeon, he will gain experience points which can be used to upgrade his stats and abilities. He will also find items that can be used for crafting new weapons and armor or for unlocking special abilities. After collecting all five gems, Komiya must defeat Rudra in her castle in order to save the world from destruction.
Rudra no Hihou has an interesting battle system that combines real-time combat with turn-based elements. Players control their characters directly on the battlefield and must use strategy to defeat their enemies. During battle, players can use items and special attacks as well as dodge enemy attacks using timed button presses. The game also features an extensive crafting system which allows players to create powerful weapons and armor using materials found in dungeons or purchased from shops.
Rudra no Hihou features colorful graphics that capture the atmosphere of its fantasy setting perfectly. The music is composed by Yuzo Koshiro and adds further depth to the game’s atmosphere. The controls are easy to learn but require skillful timing in order to succeed in battle.
Overall, Rudra no Hihou is an excellent action RPG that combines elements of exploration, puzzle solving, and real-time combat into one exciting package. With its diverse gameplay mechanics, colorful visuals, engaging soundtrack, and deep story, it stands out as one of the best titles released for the Super Nintendo system
