As they progress through the game they will find new items to equip that can increase their stats or give them special abilities.
Exploration is key to success in Dragon View; players must search every corner of each area to find hidden items and secrets that can help them on their quest. They can also speak with NPCs to get additional information about their current location or tasks they need to complete. Shopping is also available at certain locations which allows players to purchase items such as weapons, armor and healing potions.
Players will face off against various enemies throughout the game ranging from small creatures like goblins to giant dragons. Boss battles are especially challenging and require careful planning as well as quick reflexes in order to succeed. The soundtrack is composed by Yuzo Koshiro who was known for composing some of the most iconic 8-bit soundtracks of all time such as Ys I & II, Streets of Rage 2 and ActRaiser 2; it fits perfectly with the atmosphere of Dragon View providing an exciting backdrop for battles and exploration alike.
