Aguri Suzuki F-1 Super Driving is a racing game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1992. The game was developed by Human Entertainment and published by Asmik Ace Entertainment. It is based on the 1991 Formula One season, and features all sixteen tracks from that year's championship season.
The player takes control of one of eight drivers representing teams such as McLaren, Ferrari, Williams, and Benetton. Each driver has their own unique car and performance characteristics which can be customized with upgrades purchased at the pit stop. Players can also choose from three levels of difficulty to further customize their experience.
The goal of Aguri Suzuki F-1 Super Driving is to finish each race ahead of your opponents in order to win points and advance through the championship season. At the beginning of each race, players must select from four different tire compounds to suit the track conditions. The more durable tires provide better grip but are more expensive than their less durable counterparts. During each race, players must manage their fuel level and use pit stops strategically in order to stay competitive against other racers.
In addition to its single-player mode, Aguri Suzuki F-1 Super Driving also features two-player split screen multiplayer support via link cable or modem connection. Both players can compete against each other in a head-to-head battle or team up cooperatively against computer opponents in a league mode where points are accumulated over multiple races in order to determine the overall winner.
Overall, Aguri Suzuki F-1 Super Driving is an entertaining racing title that captures many elements of real world Formula One racing including realistic driving physics, detailed cars models, and exciting races with multiple racers competing for first place honors. While it may not have aged as well as some other classic SNES titles due to its outdated graphics engine and lack of modern features such as online play or customization options; it still remains a fun classic that will bring back fond memories for fans who played it during its heyday on the SNES console system.
