The Stealth ATF is an unreleased Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game. It was developed by Aicom Corporation and was slated for a 1992 release before it was ultimately cancelled. The game was set in the year 20XX, where a terrorist organization known as “Atomic Terrorists” had taken control of the world’s nuclear weapons. As one of the few remaining members of an elite special forces unit, the player would have to complete various missions in order to save the world from annihilation.
In Stealth ATF, players took on the role of a special agent, who must sneak through levels undetected while completing their mission objectives. The game featured two different types of gameplay: stealth-based and action-based. In stealth mode, players would use a variety of gadgets and techniques to avoid detection from enemies, such as disguises and noisemakers. In action mode, players could take out enemies with firearms or explosives.
The game also featured multiple levels that were spread across five different regions: North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Each region had its own unique set of enemies and obstacles to overcome. For example, in South America players could find dangerous wildlife such as jaguars and crocodiles that they had to avoid or take out using their weapons or gadgets.
Players had access to a wide range of weapons in Stealth ATF including handguns, rifles and explosives such as grenades and rocket launchers. Additionally, there were numerous items that could be collected throughout the game such as keys that unlocked doors or boxes containing additional weapons or items that could be used for further progress in the game.
The graphics used in Stealth ATF were quite advanced for its time; featuring detailed sprites for characters and objects alike along with vibrant colors which gave each area its own distinct look and feel. Additionally, each level featured music composed by Koji Kondo which helped create an immersive atmosphere while playing the game.
Unfortunately due to financial reasons Stealth ATF never saw release; however it remains one of the most interesting unreleased NES games due to its unique blend of action-adventure gameplay with stealth elements combined with its excellent visuals and sound design making it truly stand out from other games released during this period in gaming history.
