Radia Senki - Reimei Hen is an action role-playing game developed and published by Enix for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Released in Japan on July 24, 1987, it is the first title in the Radia Senki series. The player takes control of a young swordsman named Radia as he embarks on a quest to save the world from destruction.

The story of Radia Senki - Reimei Hen begins with the appearance of an evil being known as Gigamos. He has unleashed his monsters upon the world, and it is up to Radia to stop him. Along his journey, he meets many allies who join him in his quest. These allies include a wizard, a priestess, and other adventurers who assist him in his fight against Gigamos’ forces. In addition to these allies, Radia also encounters various enemies throughout his journey. He must defeat them all in order to move forward and ultimately reach Gigamos’ castle where he can face off against the evil being himself.

Gameplay wise, Radia Senki - Reimei Hen is a fairly typical 8-bit action RPG with some slight differences from other titles of its era like The Legend of Zelda or Dragon Quest. The main gameplay consists of exploring dungeons, fighting monsters and collecting items which can be used to progress through the game. There are also side quests that can be completed for rewards such as new equipment or experience points which help level up characters. Combat takes place in real time and requires careful timing and strategic planning to succeed; however, there are also special abilities that can be used to turn the tide of battle in favor of Radia’s party.

One unique feature of this title is its magic system; instead of having spells that are cast directly from menus like most RPGs at the time did, players must collect magical stones which can then be combined together to create powerful spells that can be used during combat or exploration. This adds an extra layer of strategy as players must carefully consider which spell combinations will best suit their current situation before using them.

Overall, Radia Senki - Reimei Hen is an enjoyable 8-bit RPG with some unique features that set it apart from other games at the time. Its engaging story and strategic combat make it worth playing even today; however due to its age some aspects may feel outdated compared to modern titles so those looking for more modern experiences may want to look elsewhere
