Dragon Power is a side-scrolling fighting video game released by Technōs Japan in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The game is based on the popular manga and anime series, Dragon Ball. It was one of the first games released for the NES and one of the first titles to feature characters from the Dragon Ball franchise.

The player takes control of Son Goku, an energetic young martial artist who embarks on an adventure to save his grandfather from the evil Red Ribbon Army. Along the way he meets allies such as Bulma, Kuririn, Yamcha, and Puar who join him in his quest. The game consists of seven stages that take place in a variety of locations including forests, deserts, caves, mountains, and cities. Each stage requires Son Goku to fight a variety of enemies using his special techniques like Kamehameha and Flying Nimbus. As he progresses through each stage he must collect power balls which will increase his maximum health and give him access to new abilities such as super speed or invincibility. After completing all seven stages he will confront General Blue from the Red Ribbon Army at their headquarters where he must defeat him in order to rescue his grandfather.

Dragon Power features colorful graphics and sound effects that capture the look and feel of the original anime series. The controls are relatively simple with only two buttons used for attacking and jumping while directional movement is handled with a joystick. The game also includes two bonus rounds where players can earn extra points by shooting down balloons or destroying blocks with their fists.

Overall Dragon Power is an entertaining title that offers fun gameplay with plenty of challenge along with nostalgic visuals that bring back memories of watching Dragon Ball on TV. While it may not be as complex or polished as some modern titles it provides an enjoyable experience that still holds up today. Whether you’re a fan of Dragon Ball or just looking for some classic gaming fun Dragon Power is worth checking out.
