It is based on the 1960s cartoon series of the same name, which featured the adventures of two talking moose, Rocky and Bullwinkle, as well as their friends Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale.

The goal of Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends is to help Rocky, Bullwinkle, Boris, and Natasha complete various levels while avoiding enemies such as Fearless Leader’s minions or flying squirrels. Each world contains multiple levels with various obstacles and enemies that must be overcome in order to progress. When all five worlds have been completed, the player is rewarded with a final boss battle against Fearless Leader himself.
