Players can move left or right along a single plane while attacking enemies with punches and kicks or picking up weapons such as bats and pipes which can be used to defeat multiple enemies at once. There are also several special moves which can be performed by pressing certain button combinations on the Game Boy controller such as a spinning kick or flying jump kick. In addition to these moves, players can also pick up items such as health restoring food which can be used to restore health when needed.
